Ever since Scotties came into my life, I feel like I see them everywhere. Last week, for instance, a brindle Scottie strolled into the neighborhood CVS with his owner and started rolling around on the floor, playing with one of the workers. I can’t tell you how much that made my day. I couldn’t help but think: if only Scotties were allowed to go everywhere – imagine the exponential joy…
A few months ago, we took my father out to dinner at a restaurant we hadn’t tried yet outside of Charlottte, North Carolina. I was just mentioning to my mom the immense guilt I felt for having to leave my precious pups back at the house when she points to the table. What did she see? A miniature Heather and Mr. K! Ok, not really. Just Scottie-shaped salt and pepper shakers. I looked around to see if all the tables had them – nope, only ours. The others had chicken and cow shaped ones so I think it is safe to say we got the best table in the house.
Then, there was the hideous Scottie patterned Dooney & Bourke purse at T.J. Maxx. And the two pairs of Scottie pajamas Heather and Mr. K’s Grandmadre bought me. Then, the Scottie patterned drinking glasses at the antique store. Oh, and who could forget the pair of boy shorts-style, Scottie printed panties Aunt Heidi found at Target and presented to me as a random gift? I swear, Scotties are everywhere…but I’m not so sure that’s a bad thing at all!
I have that purse!!!!! Hahahah!!!!!
I have the purse (the white version) too and love it!
